This short story "Music With The Fairies" has been inspired by the lovely children with whom I spent time talking and listening to them speak in their own creative words.

Therefore I wrote this fairy tale for kids to not only stir up children's imagination but also help them to learn something new.

There are many colorful illustrations in this children's book that tells the story even better. A good way of engaging your children while reading along with them.

Music With The Fairies by Joe Clarke
Illustrated colorful children's book about Lisa and Olivia and it's raining out and they can't go out to play.
They want to but the rain is hard and it's cold...So they play the piano instead..
Low tones mean stormy weather but high notes mean sunny flowery weather and it attracts a fairy when they play the notes together.
Like this book for the imagination of what they can do and what happens.

Music With The Fairies eBook Joe Clarke Reviews

I read this to my daughter and she enjoyed the beautiful artwork along with the message of the story of teamwork. To use music as the base of two young girls joining together and making a beautiful song together that even the fairies enjoy is a great story. It is a quick enough read that it kept my duaghter's attention and was engaging enough artwork that we could talk about the pictures.
My daughter loves Music With The Fairies, reminds her the Rainbow Magic fairy books. She is currently re-reading through them while going through the Rainbow Magig series set by set. She reads about 4 books a day. Anything that gets my daughter reading more than a book a day gets 5 stars from me. These books have held her interest and motivated her to read more and more.
This story teaches a nice little moral lesson about teamwork. Alone, neither of them could play beautiful music, but when combined it made even the fairies dance. My daughter loved the illustrations and the bright colors! Hope to see part 2 to this story!

Cute story of Olivia and Lisa who are bored on a rainy day. Together they decide to play the piano. A fairy comes to their window and wants to know how they made that music. Nice illustrations. Perfect for little girls 4-8.

"Music With The Fairies" by Joe Clarke is a brilliant and vividly colorful tale about two girls, Olivia and Lisa, who are stuck in the house because of a terrible storm outside. Quickly growing bored, they decided to play the piano to help pass the time. Sitting side by side on the piano bench, one girl started playing the high notes, but her sister said it was too high. So she started playing the low notes, but the first girl said it was too low. Then, perhaps trying to outdo each other, they both started playing together, and the high and low notes blended into a beautiful song.

Suddenly they noticed a fairy standing outside on the window sill! The fairy motioned for them to come outside, so they made a mad dash through the storm to the fairy. The fairy asked them "What was that beautiful song you were playing?" and then led them into a thicket, and then to a clearing in the thicket where a bunch of fairies were sitting around, looking depressed.

It turns out the fairies also had a piano, but none of them could make it sound as pretty as the song the two girls were playing, and they asked the girls to show them how they did it. Both girls started playing again, and the fairies realized that TEAMWORK was what made the difference!

The artwork in this book was fabulous, and sure to maintain the attention of any child to whom the book is read. It also has a moral - TEAMWORK gets the job done best - and kids are never too young to start learning that lesson.

All in all, this is a very good book for the very young child, who is still at that stage where they want to have a book read to them at bedtime each night. I highly recommend it.
This is a childs story that teaches teamwork at its finest. The book begins with the two girsls learning teamwork and then teaching the fairies the lesson. really cute read recommended for all ages. received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review
